This former monastery is one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings in Zutphen, dating back to 1200AD

Come and relax in one of the fifteen guest rooms of the former 13th century dormitory with all the home comforts of today !  Look around you and be enchanted by historic Zutphen.


Sample the tastiest regional beers in the bar, taste our excellent collection of gins, or descend into our mediaeval vaulted cellar for a wine/food tasting experience.
Our top chefs, Niels M. and Niels van D. have each earned a Michelin star, and will constantly strive to maintain this high level. The waiting staff led by Marieke and Jurgen  will complement this by providing an excellent and efficient table service.

History was leading in the renovation of the Broederenklooster

The ambitions that owner Anton de Lange had for his boutique hotel in the Broederenklooster were not small. But those ambitions were never at the expense of history. The history was leading in the construction process.
